Join us for Team Shakespeare’s production of this most well-known Shakespeare tragedy, Romeo and Juliet. Set against the backdrop of the tumultuous Reconstruction era, the civil brawl between the Capulets and the Montagues takes on a new historical context. The play will be performed outside on the grounds of the Alexander Majors House, a period correct mansion built by one of Kansas City’s first entrepreneurs.
