Summer Internship/Apprenticeship Applications Due

The Festival offers one of the most effective professional theatre training programs for high school and college students in the region. Our Intern/Apprentice program nurtures the next generation of theatre artists by giving young people a real-world, hands-on experience in the professional theatre that includes production, education, and management.
Annually, the Festival employs between 15-20 college and high school students from area educational institutions. Participants gain invaluable experience working at a variety of production and administrative positions. Education interns assist staff on school year and summer camp programs. Interns learn and gain experience while doing.
Most internships are paid positions. Internships typically begin in May 2020 and last through July 2020; specific dates will be determined by each department. Please note: HASF does not provide housing or transportation.

- Stage Management
- Lighting
- Costumes
- Education
- Arts Administration
