Team Shakespeare
Team Shakespeareis the apprentice acting troupe of the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival. Now in its 19th year, the group is made up of middle and high school students from around the metro area. Team Shakespeare performs year-round in many venues throughout the city. The group is led by Teaching Artists and theatre professionals dedicated to spreading the art of theatre and Shakespeare to everyone. Students must complete a year of Shakespeare Conservatory to be admitted to Team Shakespeare.

Tuition: $400
Location: Shakespeare Studio, 3732 Main Street, Kansas City, MO 64111
Time and Dates:
- Sundays, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- February 1 – May 3.
- Final rehearsals and performances currently scheduled for May 5-9, 2026.
Scholarships and Discounts
Available Discount: $20 discount for 2 or more students from the same household.
Scholarships: Students who are applying for a scholarship must send in scholarship applications and enrollment forms directly to Director of Education, Matt Rapport at mrapport@kcshakes.org or by mail to 3732 Main Street, Kansas City, MO 64111.
