Shakespeare Summer Camps

Help your child connect with an artistic community of other kids this summer! The Heart of America Shakespeare Festival’s signature summer camps provide a place for your child to collaborate, create, learn language and presentation skills, build confidence, and HAVE FUN!

  • In our interactive and creative classroom, students will explore Shakespeare’s plays, life, and times, as well as learn acting techniques to help bring the text to life. Camp includes team building, visual art, storytelling, and MORE!
  • Professional teaching artists will lead campers through the day via camp sessions, individualized coaching, and interactive projects.
  • Camps will concentrate on process-based lesson plans to focus on the growth of each student individually and as an ensemble.
  • Camps will culminate in presentations for friends and families to enjoy.
  • Campers may need access to a smart phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer with a camera and microphone, and a stable internet connection.
