POSTER AND SONNET CONTESTS

WHO CAN ENTER?
• All Kansas and Missouri students Grades 4-12 are eligible.

YOUTH POSTER SPECIFICATIONS

 2016 Poster entry & release form

THEME
Poster MUST be designed based on the 2016 Festival production, Twelfth Night.
(Note: Posters not designed with this theme will be disqualified.)

SIZE
No smaller than 8 ½” x 11”
No larger than 14” x 17”
Posters should be mounted on firm poster board or foam board no larger than 18” x 21”

MEDIUM
• Computer-generated Original artwork
OR
• Original artwork (watercolor, marker, pencil, crayon, acrylic, etc.)

IDENTIFICATION
• Write student's initials and birth date on back of the poster.
Please do NOT include the student or school name on the poster.

DIVISIONS/AWARDS
• Two grade divisions and two categories for Poster judging:

Group I  -  Grades 4-8
  A -  Computer-Generated Original Artwork 
  B -  Original Art Work
        
Group II  - Grades 9-12
  A  -  Computer-Generated Original Artwork
  B  -  Original Art Work

(Computer-generated original artwork will be judged separately from original artwork)

Contest Deadline: April 13, 2016

Prizes include Camp Shakespeare scholarships, a showing of your work, souvenir book, and other Shakespeare related swag!

SONNET SPECIFICATIONS

Two grade divisions for Sonnet judging as well as an adult category:

Group I   -   Grades 4-8
Group II  -   Grades 9-12

ADULT  - Ages 18 and up.  Contestants are eligible to submit from anywhere in the United States.
Contest Deadline: April 13, 2016
