Summer Camps Enrolling Now!

Acting, Stage Combat, Creative Projects and more

Kids and teens, ages 5 - 18, can have a summer SHAKESPEARIENCE at one of the Festival's nine metro area camps.  Young people will audition and get cast in a camp version of King Lear, decorate their own sword, learn stage combat, period movement/dance, do creative projects and learn about Shakespeare's language, life and times.  Click here for more information and enrollment form.

23rd Season Production

King Lear

The Festival will produce King Lear, with John Rensenhouse in the title role in Southmoreland Park, June 16 - July 5, 2015.  Performances for the deaf and hearing challenged will be Tuesday, June 23rd and Sunday, June 28th.  The production will play Tuesday - Sunday evenings; gates will open for seating at 6:00 p.m. with showtime at 8:00 p.m. nightly.  This year's production will be the second time the Festival has presented this great Shakespearean tragedy, previously seen on our stage in the eighth season, in 2000.  For information about the design team and cast click here.
